Obituary for Goldie Marie Justice (Barton)

Goldie Marie Barton Justice 82, Springfield, Missouri passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 in Cox South Medical Center, Springfield. She was born October 8, 1934, in Fordland, Missouri to Zeff and Nora Criger Barton. She was raised in Fordland then later married and moved to the holler. She took care of everybody in the holler and made sure everyone had food. Goldie was a hardworker and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a foster parent.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Justice, her parents, two children Billie Jean Washington and Leo Glenn Willis, two sisters Pearl Nielson and Gertha Ewing, one brother Paul Barton and 2 infant sisters.
Survivors include four grandchildren Tracy Cotter and husband James, Paula Cronin, Dennis Shane Willis and Derrick Shawn Willis, her great grandchildren Kyle Wright, Kayla Wright, Katy Smith and fiancée Gabe Pacheco, Bradley Smith and one great great granddaughter Nevaeh Wright.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 in White Chapel Memorial Gardens under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 East Walnut Street, Springfield, Missouri.
