Obituary for William "Bill" G. Berry

Bill Berry, 78 of Southwest MO passed away Thursday March 22, 2018.

He was born April 11, 1939 in Mexico, MO to Lewis and Lottie (Loyd) Berry. Bill was involved with helping people recover from addictions and was involved with AA and NA for over 45 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two nephews, Steven Stone and Brennen Berry. Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy Berry; two children, Chris Berry (April) and Tony Berry (Betsy); his siblings, Carol Winship (Bob), Nancy Stuart (the late Jim Offutt) and Loyd Berry (Debbie); seven grandchildren, Levi Cope, Nick Cope, Hunter Berry, America Maxwell (Dylan), Sadie Berry, Alexis Berry and Kahl Berry; three great grandsons, Kinzer Cope, Kohen Berry and Aspen Cope; and many beloved nieces and nephews and friends.

Memorial visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday March 31, 2018 in The Downtown Church at 413 E. Walnut Street Springfield, MO with a memorial service to begin at 11 a.m. in the church. There will be a reception following the service in the church and all are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to The Bill Berry Memorial Scholarship Fund at any Bank of Bolivar location.
