Sidney Kenneth James Jr.
November 16, 1952 - April 16, 2017

Mr. Sidney Kenneth James Jr. was born on November 16, 1952 to Bernice and Sidney Sr. in Charleston, South Carolina, both preceding him in death. He moved to Missouri later, where he was educated in the Saint Louis Public School District. He received Christ at an early age, attending Jamison Memorial in Saint Louis, MO. Sidney moved to Springfield, MO and worked as a janitor for years with the Springfield Public School District. He enjoyed basketball, loved to cook and was actively involved in various activities with First Baptist Church. One son was born in Springfield, Dominic James, who preceded him in death.
Sidney leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Vanessa Haskins and Jackie Matthews; two daughters, Christina (Sean) Williams-Price, and Sherrion James; one Granddaughter, Tanisha Lumpkins; one dear uncle, John Patrick; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.
