Obituary for James Alan Stansbury

James (Jim) Alan Stansbury 63, Springfield, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri.
Jim was born to Jo Ann and Walter B. Stansbury Jr, on December 14, 1953.
He lived his life building model airplanes and flying them in local parks and teaching his beloved dog Suzie some neat and amazing tricks
He is survived by his daughter Amy Royston; his sisters Cyndi Stansbury, Jeri Oravec, Nancy Harmon; his brother Scott Stansbury; his step sister Jana and step brother Jeff Johnmeyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jo Ann and Walter B. Stansbury Jr.
The family is planning a private memorial at Cyndi’s house to be announced at a later time and date. The family also asks in lieu of flowers. Donate to your favorite charity in memory of Jim.
