Obituary for Helen Louise Winters (Hubbard)

Helen Louise Winters, age 93, a lifelong resident of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017.

She was born on November 9, 1923 in Springfield, Missouri the daughter of Charles A. Hubbard and Neva M. (Bearden) Hubbard.

Helen loved playing golf, bowling, playing cards, going to casinos and traveling. She enjoyed four wheeling with her husband, Perry when he was alive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both her husbands, Gerald A. Brown in 1978 and Perry Winters in 2008; her sisters, Mary Belle Schibler, Margaret Hart and Dorothy Crawford; two nephews, David Hart and Sam Hart.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews, Charles Hart, Susan Viles, Patricia Crawford, Mike Crawford, Sally Schibler, Judy Bulcock and Tony Schibler; great nieces and great nephews, Shawn and Kelsey Viles, Kala Edmonds, Paige Edmonds, Levi Shelton, Loryn Edmonds, Abbie Shelton, Tina Viles, Kimberly Shelton, Chad Hart, John Bulcock, David Bulcock, Brian Bulcock, Ann Bulcock, Rebecca Edmonds and Shania Ulmer; great great nieces and nephews, Ryder, Lane and Kenndie Viles.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Springfield National Cemetery, 1702 E. Seminole Street in Springfield, Missouri.

Memorial contribution may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association - Southwest Missouri Chapter, 1630 W. Elfindale, Springfield, Missouri 65807.
